In collaboration with Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, a Community Awareness Camp was organized in Villages Baniyani and Majra Dubaldhan in Haryana. The program included health awareness sessions, live demonstrations, and community interaction promoting preventive health practices and strengthening engagement, as part of a two-day workshop on Health and Wellness in Modern Lifestyles.
November 2020 to June 2021
Using a participatory action research approach, we addressed hypertension management in a resource-limited community in Chandigarh. Residents were empowered to adopt healthier practices, improve medication adherence, and navigate health systems. Community leaders and trained volunteers were actively involved to promote awareness, shared responsibility, and sustainable health behavior change.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Panchayati Raj Institutions to address social, political and economic determinants of health through participatory approaches. It shall enhance transparency and accountability in local governance, more equitable citizen participation, and the efficient utilisation of funds for the social and economic determinants of health.
March 2019
HEAL Foundation led a COVID-19 social media awareness campaign using context-specific infographics shared across Facebook and other platforms. The campaign promoted prevention and control measures, mental well-being, nutrition guidance, mask use, helpline information, and highlighted the needs of vulnerable populations and frontline workers.
